Meeting with participants of the Cossack Competition «Shermitsyii»
On 12 April 2019 the Consul General of Russia in Edinburgh Andrey A.Pritsepov met with participants of the Russian-Scottish exchange programme for etnosportsmen Russian Cossack Vadim Kolganov and Scotsman Frank Etherson. The guests shared their plans for the visit to Rostov-on-Don in May. Such an opportunity to measure strength with each other has become a good tradition here – Scottish sportsmen are visiting Russia every spring since 2016 and a team of Don Cossacks reciprocate in the end of summer taking part in Highland Games in Scotland.
At the meeting Vadim Kolganov and Frank Etherson received the letters of appreciation signed by Russian Ambassador to Great Britain Alexander Yakovenko for their contribution to the development of humanitarian cooperation and bilateral relations between Russia and the UK.
