Twin and Partner Cities

There are well-established links between Russian and Scottish cities and towns. Activities done as part of such connections include school trips, visits by local artists, musicians, teachers and officials, charity events.

The first existing twinning was established in 1990 between Perth and Pskov.

Most recently the official partnership was established between Stirling and Vyborg.

There are long-standing successful links between Glasgow and Rostov-on-Don, Edinburgh and St Petersburg.

Besides, in the North of England Britain's Durham enjoys partnership with Russia's Kostroma.
