St Andrew – Patron Saint of Russia and Scotland – celebrated in Edinburgh

On 28 November 2015 Consul General of Russia in Edinburgh participated in a number of events honouring St Andrew who is the shared Patron Saint of Russia and Scotland. Traditionally, the day is widely celebrated across Scotland, being seen as Scotland’s national day.

In his address as a guest speaker at the St Andrew’s Dinner at the Scottish Art Club Consul General noted importance of culture and spirituality for maintaining and developing friendship between nations.
